Governing Terms, Contracting & Permissions

Last updated: November 2, 2026

Your use of the API is governed by the Tavily Platform Terms of Service, unless you’ve signed a separate agreement with Tavily, which controls as written. Uses outside the standard Terms require an Enterprise Order Form, another signed written agreement, or express written permission from Tavily, so contact the Tavily sales team. Your contracting party is AlphaAI Technologies Inc. d/b/a Tavily, and the Nebius acquisition has not changed your terms, contracting entity, or data processing.

If my use is not covered by the standard terms, what plan, Order Form, addendum or written permission do I need?

  • Please contact the Tavily sales team. Uses outside the standard Terms need an Enterprise Order Form, or other written agreement signed by Tavily, or express written permission from Tavily.

Which agreement governs API use: the Platform Terms of Service, the earlier Search API Agreement, or both? Which controls if they conflict?

  • The Tavily Platform Terms of Service at tavily.com/terms govern your use of the API. If you have signed a separate agreement with Tavily, that agreement controls as written; if it incorporates the Platform Terms, the Platform Terms apply except where your agreement says otherwise.

Which legal entity is the contracting party, and what is its correct address and privacy contact?

  • Your contracting party is AlphaAI Technologies Inc. d/b/a Tavily, 1350 Broadway Ave. 25th Floor, New York, NY 10018. For privacy matters, email support@tavily.com with "Privacy Inquiry" in the subject line.

Has the Nebius acquisition changed, or will it change, Tavily's terms, contracting entity or data processing?

  • No. Tavily continues to operate as an independent company. Your agreement, API keys, pricing, support channels, security program and sub-processors are unchanged, and Nebius has no access to customer data or production systems. We can provide a signed confirmation on request.
